Karen Armstrong
Her first book, Through the Narrow Gate, described the years that Karen Armstrong spent as a Catholic nun. She has since published numerous bestsellers, including A History of God, Islam, and Buddha. Awarded the $10,000 TED Prize in 2008, she advocated drafting a global Charter for Compassion in the spirit of the Golden Rule.

Judith Toy
Judith Toy was ordained as a member of the Order of Interbeing by Thich Nhat Hanh in 1997, and along with her husband, Philip Toy, has founded several sanghas in that tradition, including one in a men’s prison. She leads mindfulness retreats and is the editor of Cloud Cottage Editions.
Ari Goldfield
Ari Goldfield is a Buddhist teacher and translator who studied under Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso Rinpoche for many years. He translated Khenpo Tsültrim’s books <em>Stars of Wisdom and The Sun of Wisdom</em>, and is a contributing author to <em>Freeing the Body, Freeing the Mind</em>.
