Death, Love, and Wisdom Summit

Lion’s Roar is pleased to announce the Death, Love, & Wisdom Summit. This free 5-day online event takes place from October 12-16, offering a nurturing space to explore spiritual and practical topics related to death, dying, and grief with 16 extraordinary Buddhist teachers and contemplative care professionals.

Whether you’re a care professional, caring for someone at the end of life, grieving the death of a loved one, or simply want to live life more skillfully given death’s certainty, this new online event from Lion’s Roar offers you invaluable wisdom and encouragement. With its panel of leading Buddhist teachers, chaplains, death doulas, and professional caregivers, the Death, Love & Wisdom Summit will teach you to relate to death and dying in a healthful, helpful manner and be a light for others in what is too often an otherwise murky and frightening time.

This course brings together 16 leading experts and spiritual teachers trained in helping the dying, and those who care for them, to face death in positive, realistic, proactive ways. It is recommended for therapists, counselors, spiritual seekers, and anyone who wants to offer the benefits of mindfulness, meditation, compassion, and healing to clients or loved ones.

Learning module subjects include coming to terms with the reality of death; hospice, palliative, and end-of-life care; care at the time of death; grief and bereavement support; and how awareness of death can, ultimately, bring us joy and wisdom.
